The City of Crestview Hills, in collaboration with 新加坡toto开奖结果 University鈥檚 School of the Arts (SOTA) Art & Design Program, are pleased to announce the public art unveiling of three permanent sculptures by student Peyton Harshfield. The unveiling ceremony will take place on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 4:30 p.m. at Centre View Park in Crestview Hills.
SOTA students from the Advanced Spatial Arts class submitted proposals for creating a public art project for Centre View Park last spring. Three finalists were selected to present to the City Public Art Selection Committee. Spatial Arts student Peyton Harshfield was awarded the commission to create and install an original artwork for the park over the summer. Peyton created three charming, planar sculptures constructed of sheet metal and powder coated and painted, representing some of Earth鈥檚 beautiful creations. These pieces encapsulate the phrase 鈥減ositive visual wonderment鈥 in many ways, where each sculpture changes in appearance depending on which way the viewer confronts the sculpture.
