Departmental Sources

The Department offers two main sources of career information:  a course, PSY 210R, Career Planning, and the Psychology Club. PSY 210R is taken along with PSY 210, Research Methods.  Ideally, students should complete these courses by the end of sophomore year.   The Psychology Club meets every other Wednesday at noon, usually in MEP 331.  Although not all meetings are career-oriented, many are.  Past meetings have featured therapists, school psychologists, market researchers, medical researchers, and Industrial/Organizational psychologists, among others, dicussing their positions and the education and experiences needed to obtain them.
