A minor in Region Studies is earned by completing 18 credits in courses from a variety of disciplines, but related to a particular region. The Region Studies Minor is a program focused on the geography, politics, history, culture, and economies of specific regions in the world.  Regions of study include Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, Middle East and North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa Studies. It is a good choice for students who seek careers in international business, law, journalism, government, politics, and foreign service.
