How can we provide innovative educational experiences for our students that are visionary and challenge conventional modes and methods of learning? As a young university, NKU has been at the forefront of innovative practices in higher education. The Honors College seeks to continue in this tradition by offering innovative and unconventional learning opportunities for our students.

The Honors College is excited to offer faculty members an opportunity to think outside of the box and propose alternate learning opportunities for our students. At its core, Honors education provides enhanced and enriched learning opportunities for motivated students that are student-centered and engage students in unconventional modes of learning—these can be modular one-credit courses, project-based inquiry workshops, summer learning opportunities, weekend courses or workshops, intersectional and team-taught experiences, study away, study abroad, experimental learning exercises.

Whatever it might be, we would like to hear from you!

To propose an experience, contact Jen Cellio, Interim Executive Director of the Honors College.
